The Vina Del Mar hotel is one of the most authentic Mexican hotels in town. Vina Del Mar is right on the ocean and just two blocks away from the fish and shrimp market. It is a very fun place to be at durring big holidays like Memorial Day, Labor Day and spring break. It is also a great place to be durring big events like the motor cycle Rally that falls on the first weekend in November. Fun Fun Fun.

Fun Fun Fun I\'ve stayed at the Vina del Mar once and let me tell you, I had a wonderful time. The room was very small but we had the basic one with two beds The floors are hard and cold which I didn\'t mind but I had a clumsy two year old with me who got a bump on her head. We did have a private patio with a wonderful view of the ocean. The restraunt was so great. You can sit inside if you like but who wouldn\'t want to sit ocean side feeding the birds while enjoying the best limeade ever?! I didn\'t know a lot about mexican culture so I was surprised to get beans and fries with my omlett : ) The pool is decent size and has a pool bar whith bar stools sitting in the water, we had some FUN nights. The bartenders are so oh so very friendly. It is walking distance to shops, restraunts and a good pier to fish off of. The hotel sits right beneath a restraunt, which I\'m not sure of the name, that sits atop a hill with great food, fun music (marichai) and the best view (outdoor is best) It is def not the best or nicest hotel/resort but I would stay there any day and I hope to go back soon!
